When I first heard of Periscope, I didn’t immediately grasp the concept. It was a little strange, and I was hesitant about joining ANOTHER social media platform that I might get addicted to.  I bypassed the SnapChat hype because I couldn’t think of strategic ways to build my brand on there. I’ve officially been on Periscope for 26 days, and I’ve already formed a tribe of 2,245 followers! The support on the platform is absolutely amazing, it’s helped me continue to establish myself as an expert, and I know that it’s played a role with my last $2,000 launch.

My email list, Facebook likes and Twitter following is growing like CRAZY, and I know it’s because of Periscope and the content I produce for my audience through the platform. People love my #MEBrandClass (branding, blogging and biz tips), #MELifeClass (personal development tips + breakthroughs and “aha” moments) and #RobeScope (late night random topics) categories. Use customized hashtags to brand yourself!

Periscope is like mini webinars on the go, and I’m learning that is the BEST platform to build your personal brand.  Because the response is immediate, you build trust just as quickly as you can communicate. This is also honestly why I’m such a fan of webinars now. Even though the emails from my free email #PBJcourse and newsletter are AMAZING, nothing converts better than and builds authority like webinars.
